Product families — sector A through D
Four gear families. One factory standard.
Every line runs on the same materials library, the same seam specs and the same QC gates — so a brand can scale from one SKU to a full collection without re-qualifying a supplier.

Fabric & weatherproofing
Weather is a spec, not a surprise.
We mill-test every fabric lot before it reaches a cutting table: hydrostatic head to ISO 811, spray rating after 20 wash cycles, and tear strength on both warp and weft. Coatings are specified by the job — silicone for flys that must stay supple at altitude, PU for floors that live on granite.
- PFC-free DWR on 100% of shell fabrics since 2023 — beading retained after 20 launderings
- Ripstop deniers from 10D to 420D, gridstop and diamond weaves in nylon 6.6 and recycled polyester
- Fully taped seams — 13 mm and 22 mm tape, hot-air welded floors on 4-season shelters
- UV and hydrolysis ageing — 500-hour QUV exposure before any coating is approved

Field-testing program
1,400 field days before a single container ships.
Lab numbers start the conversation; the mountain finishes it. Every new construction spends a full season with our tester network — guides, expedition leaders and trail crews on five ranges — before it is released to OEM production. Failures come home, get sectioned on the workshop bench and feed the next revision.
- Hydrostatic head re-tested after every 30 field days — retirement threshold published per fabric
- Zipper, buckle and pole failures logged by GPS position, load and temperature
- Cold-chamber cycling to −32 °C for every stove valve and pole lock
- Test reports shared with OEM clients under NDA — raw data, not marketing curves

Logged on StormShell prototypes across two winters in the Tian Shan before release.
Cold chamber — workshop B2
−32 °C
Every valve, lock and buckle cycled 5,000 times at temperature before approval.

From tech pack to container, six waypoints.
We build for outdoor brands on both OEM and full-development ODM terms. Your patterns and tooling stay yours — exclusivity is written into the contract, not implied.
01
Inquiry & tech pack
Send drawings, a tech pack or a reference sample. A gear engineer replies within 72 hours with feasibility notes and a target FOB range.
02
Materials & lab dips
Fabric, hardware and trim proposals from our 900-item library, with lab dips, hand-feel cards and test certificates for sign-off.
03
Sampling
First proto in 10–15 days. Fit, field and photo samples iterate until your team signs the golden sample — cost credited at bulk order.
04
Tooling & pre-production
Cutting dies, welding jigs and pole moulds built in-house. A sealed pre-production run validates the line before bulk fabric is committed.
05
Mass production & QC

Sustainability
Lighter on the mountain, lighter on the planet.
Durability is the first sustainability spec — a tent that lasts ten seasons beats any recycled label on one that lasts two. Then we work down the footprint of everything that goes into it.
- Recycled nylon and polyester in 58% of shell fabrics today — roadmap to 78% by 2027
- 100% PFC-free DWR across the range since 2023, with published wash-cycle performance
- 3.2 MW rooftop solar covering 46% of campus electricity; coating ovens on heat recovery
- Offcut reclaim program — cutting waste baled and re-spun into pack linings and stuff sacks
- Repair-first design — field-replaceable poles, buckles and zipper sliders on every OEM platform

Proof, logged in the field.
Alt 4,200 m · 41.83° N 77.12° E
Twenty-one days on the Ak-Shyrak traverse
Two StormShell 70D prototypes rode out a three-day blow at Camp 2 with gusts past 90 km/h. The ridgeline seam tape came home intact; the door zipper garage did not — it was redesigned within a month.

A winter line through Jotunheimen
Eighty-five-litre expedition packs hauled pulk loads for twelve days at −28 °C. Every buckle survived; the data drove the switch to cold-rated acetal across all four gear families.
Logged by the Scandes tester unit, season 2025.

Dust trial across the Atacama
Stove valves and pole locks ran 38 days of fine-grit abuse between Calama and the salt flats. The revised valve seat now ships in every burner — rated 5,000 cycles, dust included.
Logged by the Andes tester unit, season 2025.

“We moved our whole shelter program to Treeline after the first winter of test data. Their engineers argue with our spec sheet — in a good way — and the AQL reports arrive before we ask. Warranty claims on tents are down 47% in two seasons.”
Ingrid Haugen — Head of Product, Fjellrand Outdoor (Oslo)
“Sampling in twelve days, golden sample in five weeks, first container on the water two weeks early. As a sourcing director I don’t get to say this often: the factory made our launch calendar easier, not harder.”
Marcus Delaney — Sourcing Director, Cairnpoint Outfitters (Denver)

Export questions, answered straight.
What are your minimum order quantities?
MOQ depends on the family: 300 units for tents and shelters, 500 for packs, 1,000 for trekking poles and 2,000 for stoves and cooksets. Mixed-colorway orders count toward one MOQ as long as the fabric platform is shared. Pilot runs at 50% MOQ are possible for first-time partners at a small surcharge.
How much does sampling cost, and how long does it take?
A first prototype typically runs $150–$600 depending on complexity and ships in 10–15 working days. Sample fees are credited in full against your first bulk order. Fit and field samples iterate at no extra tooling cost until the golden sample is signed.
What are standard production lead times?
From deposit and signed golden sample: 35–60 days depending on family and season. Fabric booking is the long pole — reserve capacity for peak-season deliveries (spring shipments) by October. We publish a rolling 12-week capacity calendar to contracted partners.
Which payment terms do you accept?
Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with order, 70% against copy of bill of lading. Irrevocable L/C at sight is accepted for orders above $80,000. Established partners can move to open-account terms with credit insurance after four completed orders.
Which incoterms do you ship under?
Most partners buy FOB Ningbo or Shanghai. We also quote CIF/CFR to your port, and DDP for the EU and US through our forwarding partners. Carton engineering and container loading plans are included with every order — a 40′ HC typically carries 1,900–2,400 tent units.
Can you run third-party inspections?
Yes — SGS, TÜV and Intertek inspectors are on our approved-visitor list and can book any production day with 48 hours notice. Final random inspection to AQL 2.5 is standard on every order; tighter AQL levels can be contracted per SKU.
